750 Series
Over 20 years ago Berkey System revolutionized they way that rigs were built and along with the 500 Series, the 750 Series was right there doing the heavy rigging. The 750 Series is based on 3/4 inch diameter tube. Very strong. The 750 Series has all your favorite styles of blocks; right angle blocks, parallel blocks, accessory mount blocks, split blocks, linear and rotational blocks, and more. All 750 Series tubing is centerless ground for excellent fit. As with all other Berkey System the 750 Series can be interfaced with all of the other series of components through the use of bushings. Berkey System components are made from 6061 aluminum and are black anodized for durability. All Berkey System products are made in the USA and are covered by our Lifetime Warranty. See Terms and Conditions for details.
750 Series Right Angle Block
The 750 series right angle block feature two 3/4 inch holes at 90 degrees to each other. This block is the workhorse of the Berkey System. These blocks are available in both a left and right hand version. This allows access to the fastener even if you have two blocks side by side. An equal number of each is recommended. You can never have too many of these. All 750 series components are compatible with any 19 mm camera gear.
750 Series Spud Block
The 750 series spud block. Combine with Right Angle Block to create any angle. Tapped for 1/4-20 on spud end. We recommend a 4 to 1 ratio of Right Angle Blocks to Spud Blocks. All 750 series components are compatible with any 19 mm camera gear.
750 Series Accessory Mount Block
Half of a right angle block with 1/4-20 tapped holes on five sides. Mount anything on this block.
750 Series Base Plate Block
The Base Plate Blocks are attached to the Base Plates and serve as the starting point for any building operation. Blocks are counter-bored to accept one 1/4-20 x 3/4 socket head cap screw. Part numbers with a V indicate vertical rod positioning, an H indicates horizontal rod positioning. One fastener per block included.
750 Series Parallel Block
Initially conceived in Johnny's office back in 1991 as a way to add more blocks to the original line up, it was viewed as a totally worthless block to fill space in the catalog. In the years since it has proven to be a key player in any rig build. This block is a must have. Uses are too many to list.
750 Series Bearing Block
Right angle block with needle bearing insert. Excellent for hand operated pouring rigs, driveshaft mounting or other light duty rotational applications.
750 Series Split Block
For those times when the rig is already built and you find that you need to add a block. One half of this right angle block can be taken apart and added to any tube anywhere anytime. Can't beat that.
750 Series T-Block
For years we've been asked to create a T-block and it's finally available. Allows both tubes to be on the same plane.
750 Series Corner Block
Corner block. Create corners. Both holes allow one of the tubes to pass all the way through. Each tube is held in place with it's own fastener.
Base plate, 2X4 inch
Base Plate. Attach base plate to any flat surface via four mounting holes that are countersunk for drywall screws or flathead machine screws. Add Base Plate Blocks and you have a solid starting point to build off of. Base plates are 3/8 inch thick, drilled and tapped for 1/4-20 fasteners. This Base Plate is compatible with the 15 mm, 375, 500 and 750 series Base Plate Blocks.
750 Series Tubing
When it comes to building a solid rig, the 750 series tubing is hard to beat. Available in 3, 6, 9, 12, 18, 24, 36 and 48" lengths. Black anodized for durability.
750 series ball end
Ball ends are great for creating instant angle adjustment when combined with any 750 series block
Here's how they work; when loosened slightly, the diagonally split rod end is slid inside of any length of Berkey System tube and is then locked inside the tube by tightening the fastener on the ball. The ball end can then be mounted in any block and this allows omni-directional movement up to about 35 degrees.
The fasteners for the ball ends match the blocks, so the standard Bondhus balldriver wrench that is used for the blocks is also used with the corresponding ball end, meaning that the 500 and 750 series ball ends use the 5/32 inch Bondhus balldriver wrench and the 375 series ball end uses the 9/64th inch Bondhus balldriver wrench.
Simply mount any block to the bottom of the product (example: beer bottle, packaged goods, etc.) and place the ball end into the block and ta-da - instant angle adjustability. Go here for a short video tutorial on the ball ends: http://www.youtube.com/user/berkeysystem#p/a/u/1/urcNKjjHXr0
2X4 Anti-rotate Baseplate
Every once in a while you have to build a rig that has a strong side or rotational load on the base plate block and this can occasionally cause the base plate block to loosen itself up - not good. This base plate solves that issue. Both sides are grooved with a channel that is .040 deep to prevent base plate blocks from unscrewing themselves when under a rotational or side load. One side is groove to accept the 750 series blocks and the other is grooved to accept 500 series blocks.
Base Plate 1.25X3
Base Plate. This little base plate is great for mounting on the edges of 2X4's or in applications where space is tight. Mount on any flat surface via two mounting holes that are countersunk for drywall screws or flathead machine screws. Add Base Plate Blocks and you have a solid starting point to build off of. This base plate is 1/4 inch thick, drilled and tapped for both 1/4-20 and 10-32 fasteners. This Base Plate is compatible with the 15 mm, 250, 375, 500 and 750 series Base Plate Blocks.
Base plate, 2X8 inch
Base Plate. Attach base plate to any flat surface via four mounting holes that are countersunk for drywall screws or flathead machine screws. We've all been there; you're on the set with the coolest rig that you've ever built and some grip comes up to you and says "How come this stuff isn't made in 5/8th's inch so it will work with my C-stands?". Now it can work with any standard grip gear to or from your rig. Just attach this rod to any 750/19mm series block and make new friends with all the grips. Available in 15 mm, 500 and 750/19mm Series.
Ball Driver 5/32″
A very handy tool for assembling your rig or making quick adjustments, Bondhus Balldrivers are the preferred wrench for use with the Berkey System. Old fashioned hex wrenches are so last century. For fastest assembly, Bondhus Balldrivers are the only way to go. They fit all Berkey System components, will not over-tighten and have the ability to get into tight places. Long stem also available.
