The Sony NEX FS-100 baseplate has been developed specifically for the popular FS-100, this baseplate can be configured in a number of ways to achieve perfect balance for handheld use or on a tripod. The top plate can be moved forward or rearward so that if you are running a large lens out the front or rear mount battery or other accessories in the rear,  you will be able to achieve the balance you need. The top plate can also be used separately so you can mount your dovetail plate directly to the bottom of your camera.  Up and down iris rod height adjustability is available via the dual Quad Blocks that hold the iris rod so that you can accommodate just about any lens, follow focus and matte box combination. The bottom plate is drilled and tapped to allow you to add our Cross Clamp for creating a cage or adding additional handles or other accessories.
